Throughout this section, we hope to give you some useful ideas as to how you can help us and the animals in our care.
Qatar Animal Welfare Society is entirely dependant upon the gestures of good-will and community-driven support.
Personal Donations... If you would like to personally donate to Q.A.W.S. please do visit us, you can locate us using the map on our contact page. Every donation we recieve towards the care and upkeep of our dogs and cats are always very gratefully recieved.
You can help help QAWS by making a contribution to our veterinary bill at the Qatar Veterinary Centre. QAWS has a donation box at the QVC Reception desk that goes directly to paying off our bill or you can donate over the phone with a credit card by calling (+974) 44216405.

With over 100 animals in our care at any given time, QAWS is always in need of donations to assist with the daily running of the shelter. If you can donate any of these items, QAWS and its furry residents would be incredibly appreciative:
*Cat/kitten food – biscuits and meat (Purina Cat Chow, Whiskers cat and kitten food, Meow Mix kitten biscuits) ***
*Dog/puppy food – biscuits and meat (Purina Dog and Puppy Chow) ***
*Dog collars
*Dog leashes
*Cat litter
*Cat and dog toys
*Cleaning supplies (bleach, disinfectant, mops, buckets, brooms, large rubbish bags)
*Towels and blankets
*Washing machine
*Window air-conditioning units
*Fridge
*Water cooler
*Large shade canopy/gazebo
*Clothes drying racks
*Free standing room fans
*** Why does QAWS specify brands of pet food to donate? QAWS tries to keep to a single brand of food for our animals as it is important to try and maintain a consistent diet to avoid upset tummies that using a variety of different brands can result in. We have also found that these are the brands of food that our animals will eat which of course is very important!
